XeVN Loan Schedule Calculator adds a responsive loan repayment calculator to any page via a shortcode. It uses the declining balance method common at Vietnamese banks: the principal is repaid in equal monthly amounts and interest is charged on the remaining balance.

Third-party library
The Excel export uses ExcelJS 4.4.0 (MIT license), bundled in assets/vendor/. It is only loaded when a visitor clicks the export button. The plugin does not contact any external service.

Installation
- Install the plugin from Plugins Add New, or upload the
xevn-loan-schedule-calculatorfolder to/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate the plugin.
- (Optional) Set default values in Settings Loan Calculator.
- Add the shortcode

How do I show the calculator in Vietnamese?

Go to Settings Loan Calculator and set “Display language” to Vietnamese, or add
lang="vi"to the shortcode:[xevn_loan_calculator lang="vi"]. Uselang="en"to force English. With “Site default”, community translations from translate.wordpress.org are used when available. -
Which calculation method is used?

Declining balance: monthly principal = loan amount / number of months; monthly interest = opening balance × (yearly rate / 12). Interest is rounded to the nearest unit; the last month pays off the remaining balance.

Results are estimates for reference. Actual figures depend on each lender’s policy (day count, disbursement date, fees).

Does the plugin add links to my site?

No. A small “Powered by” link is shown only if you enable it in the settings (off by default).
